Founded in the mid 1990s by Rick Serafin, BillsInsider.com quickly grew to the Internet's premier Bills information site, enjoying hundreds of thousands of visitors every year and even being featured in the Toronto Star. Along with The Buffalo Range and SabresInsider.com, the Insider family of sites provided Buffalo sports fans with unparalleled analysis and opinion.

In late 2009, the decision was made to merge BillsInsider and SabresInsider into one, full-featured site that examined Buffalo sports from all angles. In January 2010, BuffaloSportsNow.com was formed.
