The Buffalo Bills have named Chan Gailey the 15th head coach in team history. Gailey inherits a team that has not been to the playoffs in over a decade.

Gailey was a head coach with the Dallas Cowboys from 1998-1999, where he went 18-14 and led them to the playoffs in both of his years there. Before that, he served on the Steelers coaching staff from 1994-1997. He is regarded as a offensive minded coach and has had solid results in each of his stops in the league.
